Swirly Bird stamps and thinlits

This set can be used for so many different types of cards. Firstly it makes a great male or nautical card especially when using these strong colours- the new Dapper Denim and Real Red. I invested in the Designer Series paper in the new In colours this year and it is great to provide some contrast. The sentiment like many of the following are from Crazy About You. I have stamped up a whole heap of the different sentiments and when I need one I just cut it off the sheet. This saves a lot of time. I am exploring a different way of doing my sentiments at the moment.
The ones above and below are the same basic colours. The one above has the stylised bird from Swirly birds stamped repeatedly on Pool Party. The Congrats sentiment comes from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits set. The one below uses the new Layering Square dies to Matt the image panel with matching Dapper Denim. This I then mounted onto a square of Delightful Dijon. I am doing a lot more layering in my cards at the moment.
I love the swirly wave like die in this set. On the one below I used the die as a stencil and sponged White Craft ink with a sponge dauber onto the Dapper Denim card to make waves. Sentiment is from the Designer Tin of Cards set.
Loving the new Dapper Denim and Real Red combination. I think this red, white and blue look is classic. Such a simple card with the Designer paper.
I then moved onto other images in the set less nautical! Here I used the new in colours, Emerald Envy, Peach Peekaboo and Flirty Flamingo. Sentiment is from Butterfly Basics.
Similar colours but a bit more layered. Sentiment is from Stylised Birthday.
The flowers were stamped and then overlaid with some of the swirly diecuts from the matching thinlit set. Sentiment is from the Rose Wonder set.
The image was cased from Melodie Viljoen. I did a watercolour wash in Mint Macaron and Dapper Denim on watercolour paper. Don't the Dapper Denim and the Mint Macaron go well together? The great new sentiment is from Better Together.
How delicate is this? I stamped the solid image in Pink Pirouette twice. Then I stamped the leaves in Mint Macaron and diecut the swirly bits and the flowers.
This was the card that convinced me to buy this set. It was cased from Llina Crouse.

You could make a thousand cards using this set and not run out of ideas!
