Sunshine Sayings and Sunshine Wishes thinlit dies

Loving this new colour, Sweet Sugarplum. Also love the contrast provided by the new Incolour DSP. The thinlit dies are simple and effective.

Irresistibly Floral again. Sponged with Mint Macaron in the card above and Flirty Flamingo below n

Elegant and simple!

Swirly Bird stamps and thinlits

This set can be used for so many different types of cards. Firstly it makes a great male or nautical card especially when using these strong colours- the new Dapper Denim and Real Red. I invested in the Designer Series paper in the new In colours this year and it is great to provide some contrast. The sentiment like many of the following are from Crazy About You. I have stamped up a whole heap of the different sentiments and when I need one I just cut it off the sheet. This saves a lot of time. I am exploring a different way of doing my sentiments at the moment.
The ones above and below are the same basic colours. The one above has the stylised bird from Swirly birds stamped repeatedly on Pool Party. The Congrats sentiment comes from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits set. The one below uses the new Layering Square dies to Matt the image panel with matching Dapper Denim. This I then mounted onto a square of Delightful Dijon. I am doing a lot more layering in my cards at the moment.
I love the swirly wave like die in this set. On the one below I used the die as a stencil and sponged White Craft ink with a sponge dauber onto the Dapper Denim card to make waves. Sentiment is from the Designer Tin of Cards set.
Loving the new Dapper Denim and Real Red combination. I think this red, white and blue look is classic. Such a simple card with the Designer paper.
I then moved onto other images in the set less nautical! Here I used the new in colours, Emerald Envy, Peach Peekaboo and Flirty Flamingo. Sentiment is from Butterfly Basics.
Similar colours but a bit more layered. Sentiment is from Stylised Birthday.
The flowers were stamped and then overlaid with some of the swirly diecuts from the matching thinlit set. Sentiment is from the Rose Wonder set.
The image was cased from Melodie Viljoen. I did a watercolour wash in Mint Macaron and Dapper Denim on watercolour paper. Don't the Dapper Denim and the Mint Macaron go well together? The great new sentiment is from Better Together.
How delicate is this? I stamped the solid image in Pink Pirouette twice. Then I stamped the leaves in Mint Macaron and diecut the swirly bits and the flowers.
This was the card that convinced me to buy this set. It was cased from Llina Crouse.

You could make a thousand cards using this set and not run out of ideas!

Another Irresistibly Floral

I cased this one from the catalogue. I used the new sponge brayer and only the ink lightly.Flowers came from Grateful Bunch and were punched with the matching punch.

Oh and this is the card I finally made for my beautiful grandson Zac. He is now 6 months!
Oh, and another one using Irresistibly Floral.

Fresh Fruit- another one sheet wonder!

First I stamped an A4 sheet of Whisper White with most of the stamps from the Fresh Fruit set. Then I let my head go and quickly made all these cards.
Love the new Peekaboo Peach I used as the base colour for the peaches. Then I used a sponge dauber to sponge a little Watermelon Wonder around the edges. The fruit all have a great watercolour effect to them. The cards below were all made from this one sheet.
These cards close up.
And these are some more cards made with this set.

Then I made this magic card as a fun treat for my granddaughter. Great video on making magic cards here
Presto! When you pull it out it is coloured.

This set is a great addition to my floral stamps.

More fun with Blooms and Wishes

I think I have become addicted to this set. There are so many ways you can use it. In the one above I used Mint Macaron cardstock and embossed the daisy a couple of times in white. Then I used Mint Macaron ink to fill in the empty spaces. Love the matching ribbon. Sentiment is from Crazy about You set.

I did a similar thing with this card. The cardstock is Peekaboo Peach and I mounted the card front Whisper White and then Early Expresso.
Mint Macaron again. Same technique of combining white embossing with tone on tone ink. Some of the Mint Macaron stamping was full strength and some was stamped off.
Hope you are all having fun too!

More Blooms and Wishes

Love, love, love this set. There is no end to the ideas of how it can be used to produce either soft watercolour effect designs or a vibrant strong look. Also loving the look of the new in colours. They team very well with so many existing colours. This first one is cased from Stampin' Up. Colours are Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive and Watermelon Wonder stamped off once.

More stamping off with Island Indigo, Mint Macaroon and Crumb Cake.

This another cute new set called Sitting Here. It's a fun 3D look.

One Sheet Wonder with Blooms and Wishes.

I have found a great new idea. One Sheet Wonders. What is this? Have a look here. This is a video that explains how to stamp a single sheet of cardstock and make several cards from it. The stamp set I used was the same as Michelle Last in her video, Blooms and Wishes. The cardstock is the new Flirty Flamingo. I used Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Melon, Delightful Daffodil, Old Olive and Delightful Dijon. Some images are full strength and some I stamped off.

I forgot to take a photo before I cut it up so I 'borrowed' a photo of Michelle's. And this below is her instructions I followed loosely to cut it up.

Love the contrast between Flirty Flamingo and the strip of Watermelon Wonder. The Washi Tape is retired. Sentiment is from Crazy About You.
This one above has a strip of In Colour Designer Paper. Sentiment is from Better Together.

What a wonderful idea for a set of cards for a gift.
