Blended Bloom and Bloom with Hope

I couldn't wait to get the Blended Bloom and the Bloom with Hope stamp sets to see how the Blendabilities would look. I wasn't disappointed.

The technique is described in a previous post. But I have found you can virtually do anything with them and the result still looks good. Amazing!
This is the Rich Razzleberry set of Blendabilities. The cardstock is the new Blackberry Bliss.

How dramatic is the single Blended Bloom coloured with the Cherry Cobbler set of Blendabilities? I matted the image in black.

I cased this from Mercedes Webb at http://mercedesweber.blogspot.com.au/2014/05/aww-may-4.html
Doesn't the Hello Honey look great. I used the Honeycomb embossing folder and then brayered the cardstock with Hello Honey on the reverse side. I matted the image with black and placed a black strip underneath it.

I teamed the Blended Bloom image with a stamp from the Bloom with Hope.
The colours are Hello Honey and Coastal Cabana.

This took a bit of time to do and I am not sure if I really like the result, not being a big fan of lots of colour. The Fun Frames embossing folder is a nice addition. Colours are Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Pumpkin Pie.

The Bloom with Hope set looks great as outline stamps as well. I used Sahara Sand for the card front and black for the card base.

I really like Crumb Cake cardstock used like this. I stamped the flowers from Bloom With Hope in Soft Suede and then coloured the blooms a little with White Craft ink applied with an aqua painter. I actually cased this from Linda Higgins.

Another variation of the above card.

It's a it hard to see in this photo but I used some Pumkpin pie highlights in this one.

I could play all day but must go and do something a bit more boring!

I Love Lace background stamp

I was hoping there may be a lacey background stamp in our new catalogue and here it is! There are many ways this stamp could be used

Firstly I embossed the stamp in white on a Very Vanilla piece of card. I then sponged over the design in Crumb Cake, wiping off the excess with a tissue. It looks so real. I used a contrast strip of Soft Suede with Very Vanilla ribbon up one end. The new Fun Frames embossing folder was used to surround the sentiment. I used a square of Soft Suede under the overall punched sentiment.

This one uses Lost Lagoon ink sponged on the embossed white image. The Very Vanilla ribbon was laid under the oval sentiment. The oval frame was cut from the Oval Framelit collection. The Petitie Petals punch and Boho Blossom punch were used to cut the flowers.

This looks so real doesn't it. Rose red is the colour of the cardstock and ink.

Crumb cake this time and a very Vanilla satin ribbon. The flowers are from the Bloom in Hope hostess set. I coloured it with the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities.

I found this one on the web but now I can't find the site again. It looks like Wisteria Wonder and I love the flowers at each end.
