This set is particularly useful for Baby cards. It has a variety of mix and match sentiments and they are different to many other sentiments because they can be used more as a focal point in the design.
The hanging mobile stamp was inked up with the new in colour markers. The white mat of the image is matted with Lost Lagoon.
Again one of my favourite combinations for cards. White Matt on white card. Remember to use dimensionals on the Matt or you lose the look of the dimension. I love the boldness of the sentiment.
The new Lovely Lace embossing folder was inked up in Crisp Canteloupe before running it through the Bigshot. It created a lovely subtle variated look. I didn't want to hide this so the Celebrate Baby was perfect to use here as it is smaller than the normal card front. The wool is the new thick bakers twine in Crisp Canteloupe.
Hi, when you inked up the embossing folder on the Lovely lace card, do you press down on the indentations of the folder with the ink pad? How did you do this? Thank you
ReplyDeleteHi Deborah you can rub the stamp pad over the embossing folder but I am always a little worried it might damage the pad so I apply the ink with a brayer. I inked it up well and then brayered the inside of the front of the embossing folder (the front is the one with the stampin' up logo)and ran it through the bigshot. Does that answer your question? cheers Kerry
