Irresistibly Floral

It's great fun to take something that looks like a white piece of cardstock and add ink and voila!! a beautiful pattern emerges. This is what happens with the new Irresistibly Floral DSP. In this first one I sponged 3 colours- Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Watermelon Wonder. I blended the old and new at each colour change. The great sentiment is from the new Better Together set. Wipe off the excess ink afterwards to make the embossed parts pop.

The one below I sponged with Island Indigo, wiped off the excess ink from the embossed areas then coloured some of the flowers with an Elegant Eggplant marker. I wasn't sure this would work but it did! Just make sure you keep within the embossed outer line and wipe off excess ink afterwards.

Sentiment is from Birthday Blossoms.

In this final one I sponged the background with Pear Pizzaz and then used Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant markers to colour in the flowers and leaves. Card base is Calypso Coral and sentiment is from Better Together. Loving this set and this DSP! And I have finally worked out how to use the paper doilies effectively!
