Another play with stamps from Kinda Eclectic. I embossed the sun in gold over the leaves stamped in Old Olive. The flowers were punched in gold using the Petite Petals punch and the greeting is from The New Two set. The panel was then matted in Old Olive.
The lovely Pretty Petals DSP stack was used in this card. The card base and Matt is Mint Macaroon. I coloured the flowers with the Mint Macaroon marker. So easy!

Happy crafting.
Another of the large images from this set.
This was cased from Beate@stempelomi. The cardstock was first stamped with the images from Sunmer Silhouettes. The blossoms are Rich Razzleberry and the leaves Old Olive. The stems are Mossy Meadow. I then embossed it and very lightly sponged with Sahara sand. The sentiment is from Butterfly Basics.

Same colours in this one. I kept the block straight once I wet it in this one so the colours are more in lines. The one before I tipped it around a little to blend the colours.
For lots more ideas on acrylic block stamping go to my previous posts. Have fun.
The card front was embossed with the new Brick Wall embossing folder. The design was cased from http:karentitus.com/winning-Stampin-up-handmade-cards-tour/. The sentiment is from Birthday Blossoms as are the leaves. The flower was made from Elegant Eggplant cardstock which had been punched using a scallop punch and then petals were made by carefully cutting in towards the centre. The oval die was used to cut the sentiment and the next size as a Matt for the sentiment. The new thick Whisper White cardstock was used for the card base. This is soooooo much better for card bases than using the normal thickness!
A beautiful card cased from Claire Daly. Elegant Eggplant against white is always pretty. Birthday Blossoms was used for the flowers, leaves and sentiment. The flowers were punched with the Pansy Punch and leaves were cut by hand. The Whisper White card front was scored using the Simply Scored tool and a pearl was used in each corner.
In preparation for a workshop on brayering I spent lots of time exploring old and new techniques. I used to do quite a bit of brayering but it took me a while to remember how to do it well. There are lots of videos on YouTube about different techniques. A good one to start with is here
This final card is cased from Michelle Zindorf too. The lighter colour is brayered or sponged first and then using the edge of a large post it note and starting from corner to corner you sponge a slightly darker colour in a straight line along the edge. Move the post it note slightly and re do. This can be used either for moonlight or Sun rays.

It is an age since I have posted something on this blog. It has taken a bit of time to get back to crafting after our long UK trip earlier this year. A new grandson and lots of commitments to catch up with has meant reduced time to play. But hopefully now I can get back on track.
The new catalogue came out while I was away. I checked it out online but I wasn't as excited as normal and I wasn't sure if it was the catalogue or my interest was waning. Since getting back into it however I have found lots to get excited about.
The new colours were a bit of a disappointment at first as I am not a big fan of bright colours. But once I saw what others were doing with them I changed my mind.
Background was made from the stamp set Crazy about you and the sentiment was stamped from Happy Notes.
This was cased from alystamps.com. The stamp set is Celebrate Today. Love the look of the Tip Top Taupe cardstock.
Yes I have decided I like the new colours now!
